Brother Yousif Omer is a Political Science scholar at Virginia State University, from Baltimore, MD. Byway of the Republic of Sudan, Central Africa.
A spring 2022 initiate of the Beta Gamma Chapter, Bro. Omer is a fervent advocate for social justice and voting rights, and is vocal supporter of mental health awareness.
In his role as the Eastern Regional Assistant Vice President, Bro. Omer’s vision is to “Enhance Brotherhood and strengthen the bridge.” aiming to facilitate a smooth transition for brothers from college to alumni chapters, provide chapters with tools needed for their success, fostering corporate sponsorships, and empowering personal and professional growth among all brothers.
Beyond his fraternal involvement, Bro. Omer serves as the Vice President of the Virginia State University Student Government Association, President of the student division on Student Leadership, and is a co-founder of a nonprofit organization dedicated to mentoring and empowering male middle and high school students in the Petersburg community.
Bro. Omer is also the Chairman of the National Pan-Hellenic Council’s Undergraduate Leadership Council, where he leads the efforts of all NPHC organizations at the undergraduate level, further solidifying his commitment to service and leadership within our community and beyond.
