General President Mark S. Tillman Gives Remarks During the 50th Anniversary of the March on Washington
In celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the March on Washington General President Mark S. Tillman had a very visible role during the Let Freedom Ring Celebration, speaking about an hour before President Barack Obama, President Bill Clinton and President Jimmy Carter.
Also participating on the program were Bro. Hill Harper, Bro. Rev. Joseph Lowery, Bro. Mark Morial, Bro. Hon. Andrew Young, Sr., and Bro. Martin L. King III – representative of Alpha Phi Alpha’s continued support of Bro. Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King’s dream today.
This event was the closing activities commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the March on Washington.
